About Jewel Boxes of Bradford

We are located in the the county of Simcoe for a few reasons. First Bradford is a nice community, but more importantly it is located clode to Toronto - a ready source of customers, and a ready source of suppliers, and materials - exotic and common.

Bradford is Located at the northern edge of the great Eastern Hardwood forests and just south of the pre-Cambrain shield - the sothern edge of the great Northern Boreal forest. Two hours to the south east we can find the northern edge of the Carolinian forest. We are in an ideal place to have access to exotic woods throught the major trading routes, and the locally grown hardwoods and softwoods.

Typically we use locally grown hardwoods and some softwoods. Black cherry, oak, ash hickory and maple are locally harvested 0- among many other type of wood.
